Woodwind Tech Bassoon Repair
Along with the installation of new pads and corks/felts, key end
play is taken up, and the wooden bore sections are treated with linseed
oil. Uneven
toneholes are refaced, and the centers of the pads are waxed for
optimum
seal.
Base price for bassoon repad: $425. Polishing of keys and metal
parts: add $75.
Don't need a complete repad? How about just an oiling and adjustment
with a few corks and pads replaced? ($70 - $95).
